The Strategic Plan below is an initiative that will allow the agency to come to grips with the new challenges in terms of privacy and data protection; strengthening the identity and the internal cohesion of the institution and its external image; publicize from a global perspective and inclusive all actions that we want to implement; update of procedures and internal management systems through electronic administration and, as an essential factor, enabling the widest possible participation of citizens, responsible and professionals of privacy. It constitutes as well as an important public commitment by this institution, which marks in this document their priority lines of work laying the foundation on which aims to settle the performance of the agency in the next four years.
The text is the result of having subjected to public consultation a version draft of the same. In this sense, the agency has received nearly 400 input from citizens, responsible for treatment, experts in data protection and public and private organizations, all of them very useful for the development of the final version of this strategic Plan.
